15 people arrested in cases of issuing driver’s licenses for bribes

As a result of joint investigative and operational-intelligence comprehensive measures carried out by employees of the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Internal Security and Anti-Corruption Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 15 individuals have been arrested, including the head of the Registration-Examination Division of Tavush Province of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

The criminal proceedings relate to apparent criminal cases of numerous citizens obtaining driver’s licenses in exchange for bribes.
