50 residents of Debedavan were baptized near the newly built church in the village

New religious births, as the walls of the newly built church are rising.

May 21 was one of the most important days for border guard Debedavan, as 50 residents of the village were baptized near the church of St. Mariam Astvatsatsin, the construction of which hasn’t finished yet. 

The baptism was organized by Developing Communities NGO with the sponsorship of Russian benefactor Arsen Miqayelyan and with the support of the Diocese of Tavush. The baptized were children and adults, and the godfathers were the participants of the Artsakh war.

The baptism was performed by the Primate of the Diocese of Tavush, Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan.
