A citizen fell into a gorge in Koghb; Rescuers came to help

On August 13, at 10:30 a.m., an emergency call was received at the Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center, reporting that in the “Zikatar” area of Koghb village, Tavush Province, a citizen had fallen into a gorge and required rescuers’ assistance for extraction.

A firefighting-rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene.

The rescuers lowered the citizen from the territory of the “Zikatar” State Reserve using a stretcher and brought them to the ambulance vehicle. The individual was hospitalized at a medical center.
