A study of people’s attitudes towards modern forms of torture

This study is the first, and so far the only, profile study of public opinion on torture and ill-treatment.

Considering that a modern person, including our fellow citizens, spends up to 80% of their time online,  the survey is based on online data collection methods.

The methodology of the survey was developed by the specialists of the Public Verdict Foundation together with the sociologists of the Methodological Laboratory.

The Armenian Scientific Association of Psychologists NGO and the Vanadzor office of the Helsinki Civil Assembly also help to carry out the survey in Armenia.
