Car accident in Tavush Region. Renault Logan Van and Mercedes Viano collided. there are casualties. Ijevan’s rescuers, patrols and doctors acted promptly

On April 13, a car accident happened in Tavush region. At about 17:20, on the 124th km of the Yerevan – Sevan – Ijevan highway, the Renault Logan Van driven by 24-year-old Garik Kirakosyan, a resident of Yerevan, and the Mercedes Viano driven by 55-year-old Gurgen Sedrakyan, a resident of Kotayk region, collided.

1 combat unit from Ijevan fire-rescue squad No. 62 of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia promptly dispatched to the scene of the incident.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the cars, closed the gas valves.

Proceedings regarding the accident have been initiated in the investigative department.
