Cars collided on the Ijevan–Yerevan highway, there are injuries

On August 4, at 15:20 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Ijevan–Yerevan roadway.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mitsubishi” and “GAZel” cars collided at the 3rd km of Ijevan–Yerevan roadway.

The driver and passengers of the “Mitsubishi” car had been taken to medical centers before the rescuers arrived.

The rescuers disconnected the batteries of the cars, closed the gas tank valves and removed two passengers from the “Mitsubishi” car, transferring them to the ambulance service.
