Earthquake: Felt in the villages of Voskevan, Artsvaberd, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Aygedzor, and Chinari of Tavush region

On August 16, at 08:31 local time (04:31 GMT), an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 was registered by the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, at the geographic coordinates of 41.01⁰ north latitude and 46.06⁰ east longitude, 38 km east of the town of Tovuz, Azerbaijan, at a depth of 10 km of the source.
In the epicentral zone, the underground shock’s intensity amounted to 4–5 points.
The earthquake was felt in the villages of Voskevan, Artsvaberd, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Aygedzor, and Chinari of Tavush region with an intensity of 2–3 points.
