Earthquake hit 60 km northeast from the city of Kahramanmarash, Turkey
On February 6 at 14:24 local time (at 10:24 by GMT), the Seismological Network of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the MES of the RA recorded an earthquake at the northern latitude 38.05⁰ and eastern longitude 37.25⁰ geographic coordinates (60 km northeast from the city of Kahramanmarash, Turkey), with 7.7 magnitude and 10 km depth.
The tremor measured magnitude 10-11 points at the epicenter area.
The earthquake was felt in Yerevan city and in the city of Gyumri in Shirak Province with 3-4 points intensity.
