Forage was burnt in Artsvaberd village (updated)
On January 27, at 00:14 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that forage had been on fire in Artsvaberd village.
Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
The fire was localized at 02:43 and extinguished at 03։00. About 250 bales of hay were burnt.
As a result of the inspection, the police of Tavush division found out that on January 24 around 22:00, an unknown person had set fire to the forage of a 63-year-old resident of Artsvaberd.
As a result of the operational and investigative measures taken, it was found that the haystack was set on fire by the 21-year-old daughter-in-law of the host. It was also found that on January 25, around 10:30 p.m., she tried to set fire to the barn next to the house with a flammable substance. The compiled documents were sent to the investigative department of Berd.
