Ijevan InfoTun NGO

The mission of Ijevan InfoTun Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is to empower people to achieve significant changes in the arenas of social justice and economy, and implement concrete programs that will help people improve their communities and lives. Ijevan InfoTon NGO is a part of the InfoTon program of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) and was founded on the basis of the Ijevan InfoTon project, which has been implemented by the Northern Branch of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation since 2013. It has significant experience in implementing successful programs dedicated to the development of communities, community structures and promoting public participation. Ijevan InfoTun also has a lot of experience in working with young people, and it has particularly contributed to the development of critical thinking, civic journalism and leadership skills among them and their establishment as individuals.

Ijevan InfoTun conducts public discussions on local self-government, human rights, youth, social policy and public accountability at the local and national levels, raising public awareness of local issues.

The goal of InfoTun is to strengthen the capacities of the youth and non-governmental organizations to increase and develop their role in community life, as well as to promote the formation of a media-literate society and the use of new media tools in Armenia.
