Mutual accusations continue

Tavush Media received information that a criminal case has been initiated in the framework of the complaint of Indian citizens at the Ijevan garment factory.

We immediately contacted the press secretary of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Kima Avdalyan, who noted that based on the report, a criminal case has been initiated under the provisions of Article 194, Part 2, Point 6 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, Article 195, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, and Article 335, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

When asked what the basis for the case was, she replied that it was based on the report of one of the Indian citizens.

The articles of the Criminal Code refer to the characteristics of physical and mental influence, as well as the illegal circulation of firearms, their main components, ammunition and other materials, devices, and objects.

It should be recalled that on the evening of August 6, a group of Indian citizens working in Ijevan blocked the Ijevan-Yerevan interstate highway. As of August 9, the Indian citizens were continuing their strike and demanding three months of salary.
