On June 1, the children and youth theater group of Bridge of Hope NGO was on the stage of Ijevan Culture House
On June 1, on the occasion of International Day of the Protection of Children’s rights, the Children and Youth Theatrical group of Bridge of Hope NGO came to congratulate the elders and children of the enlarged community of Ijevan. Derenik Demirchyan’s “Nazar the Brave” story was presented at the Ijevan Culture House.
The spectators of the theatrical performance were children and parents of the Child Development and Social Inclusion Center of the Bridge of Hope NGO Ijevan, students, teachers of public schools, and community residents.
At the end of the performance, the staff and volunteers of the Bridge of Hope joined the city event and colored the children outside, maintaining the festive mood.
According to Hasmik Khacheyan, the leader of the theater group, “Children with and without disabilities perform on the stage. This is a great benefit first of all for the children, who take the stage, and another proof for the spectators that people with disabilities can do everything; we just need to create equal conditions for them.”
