“Problems of organizing intra-community transport in the context of community enlargement.” Roundtable Discussion
“Civic Youth Center” community development NGO conducted an online survey among the residents of the community in the framework of the project aimed at improving intra-community public transport of the enlarged Ijevan community. The goal was to study the quality of intra-community transport services operating in the Ijevan community to raise the public opinion of the residents. About 600 residents of Ijevan city and settlements participated in the online survey.
On November 8, a roundtable discussion entitled “Problems of organizing intra-community transport in the context of community enlargement” was held. At the beginning of the discussion, the head of “Civic Youth Center” NGO, Arpine Yeritsyan presented the summary of the conducted survey and studies. According to her, intra-community transport is one of the priority challenges of the enlarged community.
The interested and concerned parties of the problem took part in the discussion: students, young people, the representatives of civic society, and the deputy head of the Ijevan Community were also present.
