The persimmon of Berkaber and orchards directly on the border

In border guard Berkaber village, on the bank of Berkaber reservoir, the Khudaverdyan family established a persimmon orchard in 1988. The orchard is near the Azerbaijani positions and villages, and, therefore, it has not been cultivated properly for almost 20 years, but intensive work has been carried out in the park during the last 5 years. Currently, four types of persimmons are cultivated, two of which are intended for drying.

The orders are increasing year by year. Dry goods with the Berkaber logo are known not only in Armenia but also abroad, from London to the United Arab Emirates.

Due to their unbreakable will, the Khudaverdyans continue developing the border business.
