The final of the Ijevan community football tournament initiated by the “Bridge of Hope” NGO was held

The “Sports for Equal Opportunities in Armenia” project initiated by the “Bridge of Hope” NGO has come to an end. On May 18, the final football match was held at Ijevan High School within the framework of the project. The goal of the project was to promote the social inclusion of children with disabilities through football.

Armine Khachatryan, the former defender of the national women’s football team of Armenia, made the starting pass of the final football match.

The next football tournament will be held in Dilijan, Berd, and Noyemberyan communities of Tavush region, and this fall the best teams will have a match, and the winning team will be declared the champion of Tavush.

At the end of the tournament, the teams were awarded with medals and the program supporters with letters of thanks. The winner was the team of primary school No. 1 of Ijevan, which also received the championship cup. Tavush TV also received a letter of appreciation for disseminating the project in the best possible way.






In Ijevan, a training-meeting was organized for the employees of the regional branches of the “Bridge of Hope” NGO in Tavush Region

On April 21, the “Bridge of Hope” NGO organized a training-meeting for the employees of the regional branches of Tavush to develop communication, public relation skills, and fund-raising abilities.

The trainings for the employees of the Ijevan, Dilijan, Noyemberyan and Berd centers of the NGO “Bridge of Hope” NGO, as well as the office operating in Yerevan, were conducted by the representatives of the “Inexsus” digital marketing and communication development company.

“Sports for equal opportunities in Armenia” program was launched in the Ijevan branch of “Bridge of Hope” NGO. On March 22, the meeting to announce the start of the project was held.

The goal of this project is to promote the social inclusion of children with disabilities through football. Within the framework of the project, children with disabilities will be given the opportunity to play sports, which will significantly improve their physical and mental abilities, and contribute to the formation and development of social skills.

The “Sports for equal opportunities in Armenia” program is implemented by the “Bridge of Hope” NGO with the financial support of the “UEFA foundation for children”.






Drawing competition entitled “All of us different, all of us equal”

“Bridge of Hope” NGO, within the framework of the “Support today for tomorrow’s independent life” program implemented in Tavush Region, RA, through the organization’s “Child Development and Social Inclusion” centers located in Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd and Noyemberyan cities of Tavush Region, RA, announces “All of us different, all of us equal” drawing competition.

Students 1-12th grades of public schools of Tavush Region can participate in the competition.

“Mission East” representatives visit Ijevan branch of “Bridge of Hope”

On April 8, the representatives of the Danish Humanitarian aid organization “Mission East” visited the Ijevan Branch of the “Bridge of Hope” NGO.

As a result of the programs of “Mission East,” we could introduce the universal inclusive education in the country, improve many services for people with disabilities, and the center of all this has been the Tavush region from the beginning. 

The goal of the visit was to get acquainted with the children, parents, and partners and record the results and existing issues, to plan further work.
