The exhibition of carpet making and felting took place at Noyemberyan Culture House.

Honorary guests of the exhibition were Levon Der Bedrossyan, director of the Folk Art Hub Foundation, other members of the foundation, and Arsen Aghababyan, head of the Noyemberyan community.

The meeting was highlighted by the trend of further development of the project.

In order to give a new life to the forgotten folk games and traditions, the Berdavan Aesthetic Center initiated the “Back to the Roots” event on June 30, which was equipped with the presentation of Armenian folk games, national folk songs and dances.

Cultural life is active in Berdavan and as a border settlement, the conservation and the transfer to generations has a significant meaning in the village.



The other day in Yerevan, the exhibition of carpets was held in the center of the People’s Art Hub Foundation, which was attended by 11 cultural centers participating in the “Adopt a loom” program, including the Noyemberyan Culture Center from Tavush region and the “Telik” center from Ijevan.

Since 2016, “Adopt a loom” project has been carried out to develop carpet making in different regions and communities of Armenia.

After the exhibition, many professional issues were discussed, consultations were held, mutual cooperation was strengthened with the expectation of implementing a number of projects in the future.

Ijevan Music Secondary School summarized the 2022-2023 academic year with a traditional reporting concert.

During the past year, the students of the music school participated in competitions and festivals during which they recorded significant success.

During the event, national, folk, patriotic songs and music were played by the students and teachers.

During the past academic year, Ijevan Music School was awarded certificates and special prizes for best performance at various events.



A nice event was organized for the 35th anniversary of the favorite school. The students, accompanied by the teachers, performed the famous compositions of Komitas, Rachmaninov, Aynaudi, Khachatur Avetisyan and other composers.

Աշուղ Նազելին (Նազիկ Լենտրուշի Գրիգորյանը) ծնվել է Նոյեմբերյանի շրջանի Բաղանիս գյուղում,1963թ. օգոստոսի 28-ին։ 1970-80թթ. միջնակարգ դպրոցը ավարտելուց հետո 1982-1987թթ. սովորել և ավարտել է Երևանի Պետական Համալսարանի բանասիրական ֆակուլտետը: 1987-2007թթ. զբաղվել է մանկավարժությամբ։ Օժտված լինելով աստվածատուր ձայնով՝ Նազելին երգել է տարբեր անսամբլներում՝ 1982-87թթ. «Տոհմիկ» երգչախումբ, 1990-2000թթ. Եղվարդի Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցու երգչախումբ:, 1999-2002թթ. «Սայաթ- Նովա» աշուղական երգի վաստակավոր անսամբլ, 2002-2005թթ. «Ակունք» ազգագրական անսամբլ: 2002-2010թթ. «Ինպուլս» ռադիոկայանում վարել է հեղինակային «Հին ու նոր աշուղներ» հաղորդաշարը։

2005թ. լույս է տեսել նրա «Հարսնաքար» խորագիրը կրող անդրանիկ ժողովածուն։ Իսկ հետագայում տպագրվել է Նրա՜ «Իմ Սուրբ Մատուռ» խորագրով երգարանը և «7 երգ Մայրիկիս» տեսասկավառակը։

2013թ. դեկտեմբերի 12- ին ձեռնադրվել և ստացել է վարպետ աշուղի կոչում։ Բազմաթիվ համերգներով հանդես է եկել հայրենիքում և Սփյուռքում: Նա հեղինակ է ավելի քան 40 երգերի, ունի 7 տեսահոլովակ, իսկ՝ Նրա երգերից ավելի հայտնի են՝ «Իմ սուրբ Մատուռ», «Մոշ աչքեր», «Էսօր օրը ուրբաթ ա», «Իմ սերը դու ես» և այլ գեղեցիկ կատարումներ։ Նրա երգերի առաջին նոտաները լսելով տարբերում ենք աշուղին հատուկ ձեռագիրը։

Here is Border Sarigyugh; 2 kilometers from the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Although Sarigiugh is a settlement with development potential and resources, there are still many multifaceted problems in the village, among which the most worrying and problematic is the deplorable, half-ruined state of the culture house.

The House of Culture, which ceased operations in 2007, started operating in 1984. The House of Culture had long been the center of the cultural life of the residents of Sarigiugh and neighboring villages.

Even today, the doors of the house of culture with a once lively and rich past are not closed, but not because the cultural life is in full swing like before and queues of spectators at the entrance, but because the doors and windows of the building, as well as all the property, have been destroyed, disappeared and only the unique illustrations left on the moss-covered and half-ruined walls hint at the building’s former opulence. Moreover, being forgotten, the building can be classified among the structures with an emergency status.
In 2021, an initiative group was formed to find a solution to the problem in cooperation with local authorities and other interested and concerned structures.

As a structure that implements community consolidation and advocacy campaigns, the representatives of CYC were told about the problem of the House of Culture. The fact that the village is on the border was special to the structure, and keeping the culture alive on the border is of strategic importance.

As a support, in 2021 two members of the initiative group were given the opportunity to study the best examples of solving community problems in the Czech Republic. The Czech NESEHNUTÍ organization, which has extensive experience in organizing public campaigns on environmental and gender issues, hosted the Armenian delegation to exchange experience.

In 2021, with the efforts of the initiative group and community authorities, some repair works have been carried out; the roof of the building was covered, which can temporarily save the building from final collapse. However, the issue of the installation of gutters is still open, and therefore, rainwater poses a great risk for such a building.



On May 14, the fourth “Tamzara,” accompanied by national dances,  started from the fountain square of Ijevan.

The second part of the “Tamzara,” initiative continued in the spiritual-rehabilitation center located in Getahovit. Kite Band was invited as a special guest.



Guitarist, author-singer Karine Aleksanyan tells about her life and work in Noyemberyan.

In addition to writing, Karine also works with the youth and children of the community, who love music. Together with them, they created the “Rainbow” band.

“Art shapes a mindset and a value system, and since a person’s works are also the product of their thoughts, quality art is extremely important,” says Karine.

Famous musicologist, violinist, writer, and pedagogue Mikhail Kazinik arrived in Armenia for a big creative project.  On April 12, his concert-lecture on the topic of “Secret Signs of the Culture” was held at Dilijan State College of Arts. 

The concert was organized for the workers of the schools of Dilijan, for students of secondary specialized educational institutions and employees of local self-government bodies. The students and teachers of Yerevan Tchaikovsky Secondary School of Music were also invited to the concert.

Speaking about his tour in Armenia, Mikhail Kazinik noted, “Armenia is a whole Universe. It is not by chance that I called the current International Academy “Armenia, the beating heart of the planet”.Armenia is not just a country on the earth, it is the connection of the time. Armenia is the old temples. In each temple an emotional feeling. Armenia is the unique relics. The colors of Armenia are incredible. They warm people’s souls.”
