Gor Martirosyan, who died in fire at the military barracks, was from Dilijan

Gor Martirosyan, who died in the fire at the military barracks in the village of Azat, Gegharkunik region, was from Dilijan Tavush Region.

Gor Davit Martirosyan was born in 2003, in Dilijan. He served one year. He attended School Number 2 in Dilijan. Journalist, Voskan Sargsyan, posted in his Facebook page that he was a role model, he was kind, modest, well-educated, organized, respected and loved.

Gor’s father is a builder; his mother works in a cake factory. Gor has a sister.




Pavlik Abazyan, who Died In Fire At Military Barracks, was from Achajur. He was the only son of the family

 The head of the village, Karen Ghaltakhchyan, said that Pavlik Abazyan, who died in the fire at the military barracks, was from the village of Achajur, Tavush Region.

The head of the village told that Pavlik was going to return home this summer. He was the only son of the family; “He had an elder sister, who has recently got married.”

He said that Pavlik was engaged in karate and he was studying in Yerevan.

His trainers said that he won many international competitions and was not only the best trainee but also one of the best sportsmen in Armenia. 

 

At 01:30, on January 19, fifteen Armenian servicemen died, and three more were critically injured in a blaze blamed on soldiers trying to light a fire with petrol.
