At 23:35 Tbilisi time, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake shook the village of Irganchay near Dmanisi (13 km north-east of Bavra village, 14km deep).

The aftershocks were felt in several Georgian cities, as well as Shirak and Lori regions – 5 points, Tavush region – 3-4 points. 

A 32-hour field exercise on the “Organization and implementation of search and rescue operations in case of an earthquake” topic with the participation of the Armenian Red Cross Society and Tavush Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was held on September 9-10.
