Berdavan. Issues of Tavush border settlements

The video presents the problems of the village of Berdavan and the villagers, with their daily lives, struggles and creations.

Annual rug exhibition within the framework of “Adopt a loom” project

The other day in Yerevan, the exhibition of carpets was held in the center of the People’s Art Hub Foundation, which was attended by 11 cultural centers participating in the “Adopt a loom” program, including the Noyemberyan Culture Center from Tavush region and the “Telik” center from Ijevan.

Since 2016, “Adopt a loom” project has been carried out to develop carpet making in different regions and communities of Armenia.

After the exhibition, many professional issues were discussed, consultations were held, mutual cooperation was strengthened with the expectation of implementing a number of projects in the future.

RTA on Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway. There are casualties

On June 22, at 13:57 p.m., the National Center for Crisis Management received an emergency call that an accident occurred on the Yerevan-Noyemberyan highway near the village of Nerkin Tsaghkavan. There are casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that on the 21st km of Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway, the Mercedes-Benz(driver: N. M.; born in 1993) and Volkswagen minibus (driver: K.H., born in 1965) collided; the latter’s passengers H. M. (born in 1972), A. N. (born in 1982), K. M. (born in 1979), E. U. (born in 1983), L. V. (born in 2003) and a passenger in a “Mercedes-Benz” car. R. Sh. (born in 1969) were hospitalized in Ijevan medical center, where the doctors assessed the health condition of the casualties as satisfactory.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the car, and closed the gas valves of Mercedes-Benz.

There are no enclaves in Noyemberyan community, the people of Noyemberyan live in their Armenian land. Arsen Aghababyan, head of the Noyemberyan community, member of the political council of the “Country to live in” party, said this in an interview with Tert.am, referring to the statement of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to which Tigranashen and the six villages of Tavush are not included in the territorial integrity of Armenia.

“The entire administrative territory of Noyemberyan community is the territory of the Republic of Armenia.The “enclaves” you mentioned are our homeland.We have no villages and lands to surrender to the enemy, and the people of Noyemberyan are not going to hand over the territories to anyone for the simple reason that our arable lands in the neighborhood of that so-called enclave are under the control of the enemy.By the way, our territory under their control has more important strategic importance,” announced Arsen Aghababyan.

Let’s remind that during today’s press conference, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he is ready to accept the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan with an area of 86,600 square kilometers, and according to him, it includes the enclaves of Tigranashen and 6 villages of Tavush.

On the occasion of the Theater Day, our cultural “Tavush talk” is with artist, director, actor, writer Samvel Beglaryan. He tells about his life linked to the Noyemberyan Culture Center and the perspectives of culture in the region.

Tour and exchange of experience for young people. Tavush TV welcomed schoolchildren

Tavush Media was again crowded. The representatives of the Noyemberyan territorial center of the Tavush regional branch of the World Vision Armenia charity organization, and the children of the media literacy group, about 30 young people from Ayrum and Haghtanak settlements came to get acquainted with the works of Tavush TV.

The staff of Tavush Media introduced them the stages of creating television products, presented the process of preparing, editing, and airing TV programs.

Children also learnt the stages of preparation of booth programs. They worked with the cameras, applying the knowledge gained beforehand.

During this period, we also talked about the work of Tavush Media and further activities.




6-month online training program in Noyemberyan

The last regional meeting with the representatives of the political society, local and state institutions operating in the Noyemberyan community

Within the framework of the “Moral and Psychological Resistant Tavush” project implemented by Emergency Channel Information NGO and Tavush Media, on January 31, the last meeting was held with Emergency Channel Information NGO, Tavush Media and representatives of political society, local and state institutions operating in Berd community.

The purpose of the meeting was to highlight the main problems and needs of vulnerable groups with state, international, private and non-governmental organizations providing support to vulnerable groups of the population.t the beginning of the meeting, Nikolay Grigoryan, chairman of the Board of Tavush Media and Emergency Channel Information NGO, welcomed the attendees and spoke about the importance of the project.

The representatives of the public institutions presented their activities, talked about the work done and to be done.  The main problems and needs of vulnerable groups were also highlighted at the meeting.

The purpose of the “Moral and Psychological Resilient Tavush” program is to raise awareness of the organizations supporting the victims of the 2020 war and Covid-19, their activities, and target groups in Tavush region.

The “Moral and Psychological Resilient Tavush” program is implemented within the framework of the “Striving for a better future. communities and civil society resilience in Armenia” program, co-financed by the European Union and implemented by NEF Belgium in partnership with “AGATE” Rights Defense Center for Women with Disabilities NGO, “Blejan” Ecological, Social, Business Support NGO, “YCCD” Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO, and Women’s Development Resource Center Foundation.
