A series of women’s empowerment trainings in the Berd community

The women’s month is the best time to start our women’s Academy through the hybrid courses and mentorship of business management, tourism, agriculture. The graduates of the Academy will have the opportunity to receive grants to realize their creative ideas!.

The deadline for the application and the documents is 16:00 (Yerevan time), March 22, 2023.

The project is financed by the European Union and co-financed by Austrian Development Cooperation. The project is implemented by the Austrian Development Agency and the United Nations Development Program in Armenia. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia is the partner of the project.

The aim is to promote sustainable, innovative and market-oriented agriculture in Armenia.

What does the program provide?

Sustainable agricultural machinery and equipment, post-harvest and processing equipment and infrastructure investments.

Note: no cash or cash equivalent grants will be provided to the beneficiaries.

Fire in Khashtarak village (updated)

The fire was localized at 14:00 and extinguished at 14:11. The roof of the barn (about 15 square meters).

On JMarch 2, at 13:30 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that barn had been on fire in Khashtarak village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RA dispatched to the scene.
