SAS BASE training – THE GURUS LLC

On the 26 of January, the Gurus LLC will implement SAS Base Training in IJEVAN for the 4th time, and simultaneously already  9th Training in Vanadzor, and the 18th in Yerevan.
It will be held three times a week; the duration is five weeks.

We are organizing SAS training courses for people who are passionate about learning and succeeding as well as attaining the set goals. This will allow different participants to become Statistical programmers and become requested specialists in the international market.

The training is free of charge. The Gurus LLC will hire the best-performed candidates!

EU-supported InnoIjevan project launches a programme for start-ups in Tavush

The EU Delegation to Armenia invites Tavush residents wishing to set up a start-up or join a start-up team to take part in an incubation programme as part of the EU-supported InnoIjevan project.

The programme will start on 16 January. It will include trainings, conferences and other events to create business networking opportunities between potential funding sources and target groups and businesses.

The duration of the programme is six months.

The InnoIjevan project is implemented by Ijevan Municipality, the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises-UATE and COWO with funding from the European Union in Armenia.

Another round of regional green camps

Regional green camps of young leaders living in Armenia and Georgia continue.
With the support of the European Union, CENN will host another round of regional green camps for the youth living in Armenia and Georgia

The regional green camp aims to strengthen cooperation between young people living in Armenia and Georgia, raise their awareness of climate change, environmental challenges and the circular economy; as well as promote green progress in the two countries by sharing their knowledge about social entrepreneurship.

Fire in Sarigyugh village

On January 6, at 23:05 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that barn had been on fire in Sarigyush village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized on January 7, at 00։00 and extinguished at 01։05. The roof of the barn (about 50 square meters) and about 60 bales of hay on the roof were burnt.



Fire in Chapkut field

n January 5, at 08։45 the firefighting activities in “Chapkut” field restarted.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the operative group from Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA left for the scene.

The fire was localized at 14:30 and extinguished at 16:27.


It should be recalled that on January 3, at 10:42 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that there had been smoking hearths in “Chapkut” field in the forest near the 7th km of Ijevan-Dilijan roadway.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

10 employees of “Ijevan Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO, 15 rescuers participated and one drone was involved in the firefighting activities.

Due to the darkness and bad terrain the firefighting activities were temporarily stopped: in about 4 ha area dried leaves, stumps and grassland were burning.

The firefighters and the employees of “Ijevan Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO implemented patrolling.

On January 4, at 07:40 the operative group from Tavush Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA left for the scene to restart the firefighting activities in “Chapkut” field.

32 rescuers participated and one drone was involved in the firefighting activities.

Due to the darkness and bad terrain the firefighting activities were temporarily stopped: in about 7 ha area dried leaves, stumps and grassland were burning.

The firefighters implemented patrolling.
