Throughout the year, Tavush TV presented the latest news from Tavush, covering educational, youth, cultural, social, health and other topics implemented in Tavush region.
Tavush TV was the first to inform its viewers about the latest and fresh local news. Having the trust of viewers and followers, Tavush TV will continue to responsibly provide accurate and complete information, adhering to its principles of accountability, transparency and trustworthiness.
At the beginning of 202, Emergency Channel Information NGO and Tavush Media announced a contest for young journalist living in the border parts of Tavush region. Teenagers and young people aged 15-30 from the border regions of Tavush region, were given a unique opportunity to do journalistic work from their regions representing the villages and people of Tavush. The winners received filming and editing equipment, appropriate training by Tavush TV team and to cooperate and get paid from their own residence.
At the same period, the winners were hosted by Tavush TV. At the end of a two-day training, the Tavush Media reporters got their entire prize package: 4 cameras, 4 editing computers, as well as accessories speakers, memory sticks, tripods.
Videos made by young reporters are also available on the tavushmedia.am website and on the air of Tavush TV.
The spring of 2022 was fruitful for Tavush Media as Green and Resilient Tavush coalition was also formed. It became one of the main achievements of the year. Emergency Channel Information non-governmental organization and Tavush Media offered their cooperation and information channels to the partner-developmental organizations operating in Tavush region in order to strengthen local democracy in the region and form citizens with high civic self-awareness and an active role in community life, and issued an open statement. On April 16, on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the establishment of Tavush TV, the partner structures signed the memorandum to join the “Green and Resilient Tavush” coalition, laying the foundation for new collaborations.
Tavush Media created a platform where small and medium-sized businesses of the region had the opportunity to present their products through advertising on the air of Tavush TV completely free, making them even more accessible and recognizable.
In 2022, the already well-known and popular programs continued as usual: “The Heroes,” “Our dialect and Customs,” to which “High-standard Coffee,” “‘From the edges of the world,” “The taste of Tavush,” “Tavush Sketches,” “Fairy-tales in Tavush Dialect,” and “Jokes with Arthur Musayelyan” were added.

On December 31, at 02:17 am, Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center was alerted that a car was on fire in Aygehovit village.
One fire unit of the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Services of the MES of RA went to the scene.
The fire was isolated at 02:50 and extinguished at 03:13. A “Nissan Altima” car was burnt. (Driver – B. Ch.)


On December 17, the “AGATE. Entrepreneurial education of young people through gamification” project results were summarized through a youth conference.
The AGATE project included international mobility and local capacity building. The project was implemented by the “Dilijan Youth Cooperation Center” NGO with the financial support of the European Union.

“The Capture of Fort Tmuk” was presented with a new interpretation by the soldiers of the border guard military unit of Tavush. The premiere of the musical performance was held on December 16.
One of the soldiers, Alexander Gabrielyan tells how the idea of presenting Hovhannes Tumanyan`s poem was born.
“Today`s soldier stands firmly on the border, is creative, and has something to say to the community and society,” said Deacon Hovhannes, one of the regiments of the military unit.
The initiative to stage the performance in Berd became a reality with the support of the commander of the military unit and the deputy in charge of morale and psychological support. The goal of the performance is to strengthen the army-society connection.


To get stronger in spirit, mind, and body. Tavush TV tells about TaUzh schools for leaders operating in Tavush.
The students of TaUzh school develop their reasoning, self-defense, and quick orientation skills during military trainings, expeditions, and camping. The students also learn to work in a team and take responsibility in difficult situations. Overcoming dears is crucial.
Future leaders are taught to be disciplined, self-confident, and have a strong will. Experienced trainers teach students a healthy lifestyle and the basics of first aid.

The 14th ArmRobotics Armenian Championship, named “Autonomous robots on a smart farm,” started on December 11 at Dilijan Central School. Since 2008, ArmRobotics has been organized by the Union of Advanced Technologies Enterprises in Armenia. ArmRobotics competition is an extraordinary platform to demonstrate the skills, abilities, and knowledge of the youth engaged in robotics and programming.
The competition field is a small agro-technological farm, where the robots created by the teams must solve professional problems using pre-programmed automatic solutions.
Teams from all the regions of Armenia, including Artsakh, participated in ArmRobotics-2022. Students of “Armat” engineering workshops, “Gyumri” development laboratory, and Yerevan State College of Informatics were involved in the teams.
The competition was sponsored by RA ESCS and ACBA Bank. The partners of the competition are the ZIG-ZAG trade network, the National Agrarian University of Armenia, and Dilijan Central School.
