Traditional pokhindz – from a grain of wheat to the most delicious khashil.

Pokhindz is a traditional Armenian village food that has been prepared in Tavush since ancient times as a nutritious food for cold winter.

The video shows the process of cooking one of the dishes, khashil, prepared from pokhindz – grinding wheat by hand, melting oil, and serving hot food with milk and homemade butter.
