TUMO center in Koghb will soon open its doors

Koghb TUMO creative technologies center will soon open its doors in Koghb settlement of Noyemberyan community.

TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and loyal individual who will take on the role of TUMO Center Manager in Koghb. The Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the center, coordinating the implementation of the TUMO educational program and activities, and liaising with the headquarter in Yerevan. Parenting week at TUMO centers and boxes in Tavush

In all centers and boxes of TUMO creative technologies, the parenting week started on November 7 and continued until November 13. Twice a year, TUMO opens its doors to parents, allowing them to personally familiarize themselves with TUMO’s educational program, participate in courses, meet with trainers and coaches, and be completely included in the educational routine.

On November 11, TUMO Center for Creative Technologies Chief Executive Officer Marie Lou Papazian was at TUMO Center in Dilijan to meet with students and their parents of TUMO boxes from Dilijan and surrounding communities. During the meeting, she spoke about the current and upcoming projects and answered parents’ questions.

TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is a free educational program that empowers young people to be in charge of their own learning. The center’s curriculum includes self-directed learning activities, seminars, and project labs.

TUMO has centers in Yerevan, Dilijan, Gyumri, and Stepanakert. There are also TUMO boxes, the number of which is increasing every year.TUMO boxes will soon be opened in Ijevan, Azatamut, Artsvaberd, and Koghb in Tavush Region.






One year after the opening: TUMO Box in Berd

“TUMO gave me new knowledge, very interesting and new experience and areas, I did not know about”, “Due to TUMO, I have decided to build my future in IT.”

“While attending creativity course, I felt that I could work with a text and decided to become a screenwriter or journalist.”

TUMO Box has been operating in the border village of Berd for a year now, giving about 300 children from the city and nearby villages the chance to specialize and master in modern and demanded areas.

Here teens explore 14 areas ranging from design to technologies. “TUMO Box” is the first in Tavush but won’t be the last. Six more such educational centers will be established and will operate in different communities of the region, making modern technologies accessible to all the children.
