The former garment factory of Dilijan and its adjacent area will be transformed into a modern and multifunctional area

The former garment factory of Dilijan and its adjacent area will be transformed into a modern and multifunctional area that will serve as a platform for small business and community members’ activities. The program is aimed at the development of the creative industry through the active involvement and participation of the community-regional population.

The solemn launch of the Private Sector Promoted Economic Growth in Dilijan, and Adjacent Communities program took place on June 7 in Dilijan Municipality. 

Within the framework of the program, it is planned to establish business and creative industry support centers and service sector support associations, as well as to contribute to the expansion of the employment center operating in the community.

The program, co-funded by the European Union (1 million euros), is carried out by the Dilijan community in partnership with IDeA Charitable Foundation (co-sponsor), the Tourism and Urbanism Foundation, and the Dilijan Community center. The program was implemented within the framework of the EU regional initiative Community leaders for Economic Development.
