The kick-off event of the three-year regional project “Woman’s power, her future” took place in Ijevan

“Care Caucasus” together with “WINNET Armenia” network of women’s resource centers and other local and regional partners is launching the three-year regional program “Woman’s Power, Her Future” in the South Caucasus.

As a result of the implementation of the project, 1650 female entrepreneurs from the South Caucasus  will improve their economic situation and have more access to financial means, technologies, entrepreneurial knowledge and getting resources.

Access to advanced entrepreneurial knowledge, mentoring and investment will be improved for over 130 women small and micro business owners and medium entrepreneurs.

In Armenia, the program will focus on women affected by the Karabakh conflict and displaced in the Syunik Marz and on vulnerable women in the regions with the highest levels of poverty in the north of Armenia (Lori-Tavush-Shirak), which are close to the Georgian border.
