Training not only the body but also the mind; on April 9 annual community children and youth championship of chess took place at Gnel Mejlumyan Children and Youth Sports School of Berd.
“The tournament is unprecedented in its size because we have participants from all the schools of Berd: about 200 students.”
Students of 21 secondary schools in the Berd community participated in the tournament in three age groups. At the end of the tchampionship, the prize winners were awarded medals, certificates, and cash prizes.
