2023 is symbolic for the Yerevan brandy factory as its branch in Berd community celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Since 2003, the Berd branch of the Yerevan brandy factory has become one of the important and recognized places of Berd, Tavush, and the remote source and frontier branch of the legendary “Ararat” brandy. On the symbolic day, May 13, the “Fence” performance based on Stepan Zoryan’s story with the same name was shown on the territory of the factory.
The theatrical performance presented the events that took place in Kars 100 years ago, which are a mirror reflection of today’s reality. The festive event was initiated with the participation of Sergey Khachatryan, Executive Director of Yerevan Brandy Factory.
Considering the importance of industrial development in the border regions of Armenia, today the factory not only expands production capacity in Berd community, but also cooperates with more than 800 families, supplying their crops.
