This is the first winter that the school of Choratan village is gasified and heated. Some months ago, Fund for Armenian Relief and “Paros” foundation, with the support of Tavush Administrative center helped the school to get the necessary equipments for the heating.
The school built 55 years ago was heated by wood stoves.
The teacher say that it is not even comparable to the previous conditions.
The school with 100 students solved the primary problem and has new plans for the future.
Tavush Media is the new project of Emergency Channel Informative NGO in Tavush region. Strengthening the information capabilities of the region: television, radio, website, and an educational resource center for young journalists. Information safety is the keystone of the safety system. We should together realize RESILIENT TAVUSH.
