First session of Tavush region council for 2023 was held

On February 7, the first session of the Tavush region council for 2023 was held, which was run by governor Hayk Ghalumyan. Before starting the discussion, the governor congratulated the head of the Berd community, Astghik Hakobyan, on her birthday.

Gurgen Harutyunyan, head of the department of development programs, tourism, and analysis of the Tavush regional administrative center, reported on the subsidy programs implemented in 2022 and approved for 2023.

Then, the head of the financial and socio-economic development department of the rTavush regional administrative center, Askanaz Bablumyan, referred to the process of forming the own incomes of 2023 budgets and presented the comparison of the own incomes of the local budgets 2023 compared to 2022.
In his report, Vagharshak Sukoyan, head of the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Tavush regional administrative center, referred to the work of the agricultural sector. The works carried out in the region in 2022 with state assistance programs were also referred to.

On the next item on the agenda, Gagik Matinyan, the head of the military recruitment preparation department of the Tavush regional administrative center, reported on the results of the 2022 winter draft and preparations for the spring 2023 training camps.

Other current issues were also discussed during the session. Governor Hayk Ghalumyan summarized the work of the session.
