The residents of Achajur, Tsaghkavan, Kirants, and Berkaber villages gathered in Makaravank. Armenian Apostolic church was celebrating Palm Sunday.
The feast is celebrated a week before Easter. This year it was celebrated on April 2. In the morning of Palm Sunday, Liturgy is offered in churches, olive or willow branches are blessed and given to the people, which, according to custom, should be kept until the next Palm Sunday, because they bring abundance, and fertility.
