On August 1, at 10:22 an emergency call was received to Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Noyemberyan-Bagratashen roadway.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Toyota” and “Opel” cars collided at the 23rd km of Noyemberyan-Bagratashen roadway.
The drivers and three passengers were pulled out of the cars by the local forces.
The rescuers closed the gas valves of the cars, moved two casualties to the ambulance. The casualties were transferred to a medical center, where doctors confirmed the death of the driver of the “Opel” car.
