Do you remember how you used to spend your vacation in the village?
This is a real holiday for children, especially when they come to the village from the city to spend their vacation.
We tell about two of the most beautiful traditions of rural life in the video:
- Churn – The mixture of rezhan (cream) and yogurt is collected for several weeks, then it is poured into segean (wineskin), where it is strained and thickened. This mass is opened with water, poured into the churn, and stirred, stirred … In the end, the most authentic and delicious butter and buttermilk are obtained.
- Psali – This is one of the pastries that are an integral part of Tavush cuisine, especially typical for Vardavar holiday. The recipe includes dough kneaded with flour, water, salt, stuffing (fat or oil, flour), and sugar.
