On July 30, the newly created “Dream Youth” NGO organized a seminar on the topic “Local Self-government System in Armenia and Current Issues” in Ijevan.
The workshop aimed at familiarizing the youth and NGOs with the structure and functions of the local self-government system, studying and highlighting the problems the local self-government systems face, and suggesting possible solutions.
“The workshop gives an opportunity to familiarize with the current systems, to get more knowledge and use it later to develop the communities,” Edita Ellaryan.
The seminar was conducted by Davit Khazhakyan, a member of the Bright Armenia Party Management Board, the Yerevan Council of Elders, and the Council of Local Governments of the Council of Europe.
“We need to give wings to the youth to have a flourishing society” is one of the slogans of the newly created organization.
The purpose of the “Dream Youth” NGO is: to create a platform for young people for self-discovery, development of abilities and skills, exchange of experience, environment protection, and management of natural resources. The organization is also ready to support the young people of the regions in developing and implementing their ideas.
