On February 14, at the meeting, Yerevan Council of Elders adopted a decision according to which several streets will be named after famous artists, among them playwright Zhirayr Ananyan.
Zhirayr Ananyan was born in Shamshadin (now Berd) in 1934. The Berd community culture house is also named after the playwright.
Tavush Media is the new project of Emergency Channel Informative NGO in Tavush region. Strengthening the information capabilities of the region: television, radio, website, and an educational resource center for young journalists.
