Tavush Writer Gayane Paytyan’s novel “Aspram” is on the reader’s table

On May 30, the presentation of the book “Aspram” by Gayane Paytyan, originally from Aygepar, took place in the Primacy of Tavush Diocese.

The Primate of Tavush Diocese, contemporary poets, honored cultural figures of the Republic of Armenia, intellectuals, and public figures were present at the Presentation event.

During the event, Excerpts from the novel were read by RA Honored Artist Silva Yuzbashyan. The Primate of Tavush Diocese, Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, made a congratulatory speech.

The novel “Aspram” is a story of a woman living in Tavush. That is why Tavush was chosen to be the place of the presentation. According to the author, the source of the inspiration is Tslik Amram’s Fortress located in Tavush, Aspram’s character and her feelings. Aspram, a well-known figure in Armenian history from the 10th century, assumes a whole system of transitions of a woman’s inner dramatic chains.

Since 2006, settling in Russia and living with the feeling of loneliness, Gayane identified herself with Aspram. The novel “Aspram” was published by Armav publishing house.
