The delegation of Goris was on a four-day visit to Tavush

Armen Avetisyan, head of the agriculture and land use department of the Goris municipality, Yervand Malunts, the administrative head of Khndzoresk, and other representatives of the rural sector were in Tavush marz from January 24 to 27, 2023.

First, they visited the cereal factory built within the framework of the UN World Food Program in the Norashen settlement of the Berd community to exchange experience so that they could apply the gained experience and knowledge in a similar cereal factory being built in the Khndzoresk settlement of Goris. The latter is also being built within the framework of the UN World Food Program in cooperation with the Goris municipality.

The members of the delegation got acquainted with the working process of the Norashen grain factory, the equipment, and the final product: packaged beans, beech, lentils, etc.

They visited the greenhouse farm next to the factory, where strawberries are grown hydroponically.
They were also at the “Kenats Tun” whole grain academy in Ijevan, where they got acquainted with production and kitchen secrets.

The delegation of Goris also had a discussion-conversation with the employees of the relevant department in the Tavush Administrative center.
