On September 13, at 01:54 am, the crisis management center of Tavush was alerted that “VAZ-2106” (driver: A.H.) and “UAZ-469” (driver: A.P.) collided near the 8th km of the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway. There is a gas leak from the “VAZ 2106” car.
One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations went to the scene of the incident.
The rescuers took the driver out of VAZ 2106, A. H., and took him to the hospital. The latter was moved to Erebuni Medical Center in Yerevan at 4 am. The driver of the UAZ-469 car, A. P., was taken to Ijevan Medical Center, where the doctors assessed the victim’s health condition as satisfactory.
The rescuers cut off the electricity, then closed the valves of the gas cylinders of the cars, and delimited the area.
