On May 16, more than 50 students of the 7th-9th grades of Ijevan primary school No. 1. organized a traditional Armenian wedding within the framework of the “Armenian history” subject. Based on the general education state standards, the students chose as a project work the presentation of a ritual Armenian wedding with all the traditional ceremonies, colorful environment and characters.
The entire event was accompanied by national music and dances. Similar events will be regularly initiated in the first school of Ijevan in order to acquaint the generations with the Armenian culture coming from the depths of centuries.
