The construction of a new water supply system by Veolia Water Company in the “Lastiver” area of Tavush region is near completion, thanks to which Ijevan will receive 30 liters of additional water per second.
The construction works of the building of the water treatment plant with a capacity of 60 liters per second have been completed. Factory-made cleaning structures imported from abroad have been installed and their adjustment works are currently underway.
As a result of all this, the resident of the city of Ijevan will receive quality and clean water, regardless of the weather conditions. Veolia water company spent 205 million drams for the project implementation.
The next important component of the company’s Mandatory Capital Works 2023 plan is the reconstruction of the water supply network of Aslanyan Street and 13 dead ends in Ijevan. After a total of 1100 linear meters of water line replacement works, 140 customers’ water meters will be reinstalled in the water measuring wells built at the demarcation point.
The construction works will be completed on August 1, the whole price of the project is 49 million drams. Veolia Water company is sure that as a result of system renewal and improvement, customers will have stable and reliable water supply.
