Real School First aid and tactics training in Ijevan’s Fountains Square

On July 15, Yerevan’s Real School students conducted first aid and tactics training within the framework of “Promoting Economic Growth and Innovation in Ijevan, through Public-Private Cooperation and Creation of Community Ecosystems.” The project is implemented within the framework of the EU Community Leaders for Economic Growth regional grant program.

Vahe Khachatryan, a trainer of Real School, tells, “Within the framework of European Union grant InnoIjevan project is being implemented in Ijevan; an innovative center is being created, inside which Real School educational institute will also operate. We hold many events; today, we conduct first aid and tactics trainings, which are a part of the Real School curriculum.”

The main purpose of the InnoIjevan project is to increase economic employment in Ijevan and surrounding communities and reduce internal and external emigration. The main applicant of the program is Ijevan Municipality, which in cooperation with the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises and COWO Community Workplace, aims to create a platform for public-private cooperation and open dialogue aimed at creating a favorable business environment in Ijevan.

The program aims to promote innovative entrepreneurship, create favorable conditions for entrepreneurship development and increase the competitiveness of local SMEs operating in the fields of tourism, high-value agriculture, and food processing in and around Ijevan city.

Real School educational and cultural foundation will start operating in Ijevan at the beginning of the academic year. It offers professional training opportunities through trainings, work-based learning, and the development of hard and soft skills.

“Real School will open its branch in Ijevan in September 2022. The child must have completed the 9th grade to be admitted. In the Ijevan branch, we will have four workshops: UAV, engineering, robotics, computer, and biochemistry.” Real School has integral parts, and one of them is national dance, the event of which we held in the center of Ijevan one week ago. Now we are conducting an open first aid and tactics class. The next one will be the exhibition of the works of the students of Real School,” says Elina Romanova, an employee of the Ijevan branch of Real School.
